This WebQuest is designed to familiarize 5th grade students with the historical culture of early inhabitants of the United States using a sampling of the Native American Nations.

Introduction

You and your partner have been selected by Parleys Park Elementary School to create an exhibit for a traveling museum about some of the Native American Tribes in our country.  Learning about Native American culture will help the students at our school know and appreciate the contributions they had on the development of the United States.  Your exhibit should pull together a selection of examples that will excite and educate your audience which will describe and compare early indigenous people of the Americas (e.g. Eastern Woodlands, Plains, Great Basin, Southwestern, Arctic, Inca, Aztec, Mayan).
