Building Your Own Autobiography As a very wise person once said: When a person writes about his or her own life, that is an autobiography: "A narrative essay is simply a personal story, and we all have at least a few of these to tell. Sometimes plays and movies have a narrator, a person who stands to the side and tells his or her story. The narrator describes actions as well as thoughts and feelings. For the purpose of this lesson, you are the narrator. The story you choose to write will be your narrative essay and quite possibly your future."

Teacher Introduction

This is an opportunity for students to consider their own significance and importance to this world while developing academic strengths.  The interactions and discussions should add to their own awareness of meaningful learning and the great role they play in their own outcome and future.
