Sights & Sounds of the Harlem Renaissance

Your quest is to create a  4 minute Video Podcast about the Harlem Renaissance.  Working in groups of three, each person will become an expert on ONE part of the Harlem Renaissance:

• Literature
• Art
• Music

Your group will process and transform the information they have gathered and create a Video Podcast to be shared within our school and the virtual community. You & your team will need to put your collective knowledge to the test to create a presentation that  will include the following elements: 

• Background information on the artist, musician, and writer, including examples of  their work.
• A video montage that captures the spirit of the Harlem Renaissance along with the music of that era.
• An audio voiceover that narrates the events of the Harlem Renaissance as well as an analysis of the impact this time period had on American history.
