This WebQuest is intended for students in the fifth grade and meets standards set forth in the Social Studies curriculum concerning the American Revolution. The students have background knowledge on the causes of the Revolution and this quest is intended to increase their knowledge and understanding of the major battles of the war. Students will also learn and understand that various factors can dramatically affect the outcome of a battle, and the war overall. The website resources include various reading levels to meet the needs of all learners, and the activities are multi-disciplinary with social studies, language arts, technology, and art to meet the learning style of all students.
