A WebQuest that has students learn about and then create a unique tessellation of their own.

Introduction

The walls at your school are pretty white and boring.  The principal wants YOU to create a mural to paint onto one of the walls to brighten up the hallway.  The only stipulation is that the mural must be a tessellation.  He has sent you on an adventure to figure out exactly what a tessellation is and then from the knowledge you acquire, create a unique, exciting tessellation of your own to be painted onto the wall.
