Learning the three grand divisions and the types of landforms found in each. Understand how to use maps, globes, and other geographic representations, tools, and technologies to acquire, process and report information from a spatial perspective. Understand how to identify and locate major physical and political features on globes and maps. Identify important historical people, places, and things in the state.



You are going to be working at a travel agency. It is the agency's job to provide clients with travel information about the three grand divisions of Tennessee. In order to do this you will need to research the state of Tennessee. You need to be able to convince your customers that there is no place to be like Tennessee! See if you can discover interesting facts about the state, the people, and places in the three grand divisions.

You will need help to complete your assigned tasks so you will be divided into three teams. Each team will take one of the grand divisions, and investigate the people, places, and things of that division.
