This webquest is designed to put students in the role of a tour guide in a South American country of their choice. Students will collect research on the geography, people, and culture. Next students draft out a persuasive brochure that they will publish on the computer using text and images. Students will then celebrate their brochures at a travel expo where they convince other classes to travel to their country.

We are conducting a survey to see which travel agency is most effective in planning trips to South America. We need you to convince people to travel to South America to see all the beautiful sites, learn about the incredible people, enjoy tours of the breathtaking land, and taste the delicious food! We need your knowledge of South America and your creativity and persuasive abilities!
