This webquest is designed to put students in the role of different people throughout a country of their choice in Asia. Students will collect research on the geography, people, culture, and government of Asia. Next students will decide how they will spend the day in Asia. Will students work as a government official, chef, student, parent, tour guide, or even as a person who partakes in a festival? Students will type up their position as a speech and add an images and borders to their published work. Their work will be compiled into a book along with the other students who studied the same country. Students will celebrate their work by sharing how they are a part of the Asian community at an Asian Fair.
Introduction
Attention all people in Asia! We are looking for chefs, government officials, students, parents, tour guides, pilots and anyone else who is a part of Asian culture! We need you to share what your daily life is like in Asia to teach others about the culture, government, people, and land. We want you to share your intelligence about how an Asian culture is unique in its own way!
