Business Ethics
What do you know about business ethics? Have you ever faced an ethical dilemma where it may be hard to determine what is right and what is wrong? Business ethics has become a major topic in today's society and modern corporate America. Ethical behavior starts at the top, meaning that those in charge must work and live ethically in order to provide a good example for the people who work for them. Practicing ethical behavior in the business world is important in gaining trust and providing an honest good or service.
This webquest is going to help you explore the importance of business ethics and ethical behavior in the workplace, as well as in everyday life situations. Groups of four will share a computer in order to complete this webquest. Students will explore information, answer questions, and be asked to imagine themselves in various difficult ethical scenarios. As a group they will learn what a "code of ethics" is, and will ultimately create their own.
