This webquest is about community helpers. With this webquest you can inform younger students of the many community helpers in their own neighborhood and the duties they provide.

Introduction

You encounter many different people throughout the day. On a short walk to school, you may pass the local police station, fire house, or post office. A crossing guard may assist you while crossing the street to get to school. Did you know that all the people that work in these places are called community helpers?  It is important for you to be informed of the community and who works to help  keep you  safe. This webquest will introduce different community helpers and the safety/ services they provide.
