In many places, the burrowing owl is an endangered species. Before that happens in the United States, we must find a way to help them.

Introduction

The burrowing owl is an amazing part of our ecosystem and a member of the owl family that ranges in size from the Elf Owl who weighs around 1.5 oz. to the Eurasian Eagle Owl that weighs up to 9 lbs. The Burrowing Owl thrives in some areas, but not in others.  There are many similarities between humans and the Burrowing Owls.  Did you ever wonder why you are successful in some areas of your life, but not in others?  It may be your environment, and how others treat you.  It could even be how you treat others that affects your life.  Either way, it is up to each of us to care for one another, protect each other, and help those in need. This includes the Burrowing Owl.
