In many places, the burrowing owl is an endangered species. Before that happens in the United States, we must find a way to help them.

Teacher Introduction

This WebQuest was designed as a cross-curricular activity involving science, math, social studies, and language arts.  Our intention was not only to educate students about the plight of the burrowing owl, but to raise awareness about environment in general, and examine the effect we have on our surrounding.  We also added a component about bullying, which is a real concern in schools today.
