Introduction
Welcome LLED 320!
You are about to embark on a digital adventure! In the next 65 minutes you will have the opportunity to work closely with your colleagues and instructors to explore a range of digital information sources and activities. You will be considering the skills you and your students require in order to effectively use these digital information sources. Such skills are called "Information Literacy Skills".
There are many ways to conceptualize Information Literacy. For our purposes, we think of four main stages of the research process, keeping in mind that these stages are iterative and often overlap. These skills are applied across the curriculum and grade levels.
