This webquest is for first grade. In Social Studies, the students will study the town community. With the information they receive, the students will build their own town on the school grounds.
Introduction
The state is expanding and some people are not sure what town is theirs. The people are upset and need a solution. The solution is to break off and create their own town. Before the town can be created, land must be found and it must be named. After a name is chosen, the town will need to be organized with all the necessities.
We want a small town feel that allows all the people to enjoy the basic necessities without leaving town. People need to eat, drink, and be merry! It will be your job to create this new town!
