Introduction

 Have you ever heard of Roald Dahl? You've probably read at least one of his books. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory? James and the Giant Peach? Matilda? The Witches? The BFG? Ringing any bells? Roald Dahl is probably one of the most famous children's authors in history ... that no one has ever heard of ... or whose name people know how to pronounce. His books continue to be read by children and adults everywhere and are turned into movies and musicals. They are much more than "silly children's books" though. There is more depth and complexity in Roald Dahl's writing than most people give him credit for. Come see why.
