In this project first and second year high school students, grades 9 through 12, will become familiar with color schemes and color composition. Through this project, students will understand color, color combinations and several of the compositional elements of design.

Part of learning about color schemes is disciplining the the eye to distinguish between colors, noticing intensities between colors and understanding how colors relate to each other. One way to do that is to make a work of art your own by temporarily becoming a particular artist; seeing the world through their eyes. Another way is to borrow some of the ideas of other artists and explore their process or method. And then a third way is to just step out there and just go for it!! Do your own thing!!!

So grab your and let's get strokin'!!!!!
